✨ Custom Fabric Orders

If you have something special you'd love to see printed on fabric, we’d be honored to help bring your idea to life! Whether it’s a favorite verse, a meaningful quote, prayer, note to a loved one, photograph or another design that’s all your own — we can make it happen.

🧵 How It Works

  1. Choose the Right Option
    - Visit our Custom Designs Collection and select the package that best fits your needs. We currently offer four ways to customize your fabric:

  • Customize one of our existing templates — Choose from our ready-to-edit designs and personalize it with your own wording or color scheme.

  • Request a completely custom design — We’ll create something unique from scratch, tailored to your vision. Send an email with the details of your special request to emerald@carlsonhomesteadquilting.com. There's a $10 design fee for the first 30 minutes of design work. After that, we charge $0.75 per minute.

  • Submit your own artwork or photo — We can print your image or design, as long as you hold the legal rights to it. Order through this listing here.

  • Request an existing design in a different size or color — You’re welcome to request any of our existing designs with different font colors, background colors, or sizes. A $5.00 design fee applies per customized design. Simply email emerald@carlsonhomesteadquilting.com with your request details.

2. Place Your Order
Payment is required up front before any design work begins. This ensures our designer is compensated for her time and creativity on every project.

3. Approve Your Proof
Once we have your order details, you’ll receive a digital proof within 1–3 business days.

  • You’ll receive two complimentary revisions.

  • Additional revisions are available at $0.75 per minute.

4. Production & Shipping
Once you’ve approved your final design, we’ll send it to print. As soon as the printed fabric arrives, we’ll cut it to size, package it, and ship it to you with care.
Please allow up to 4 weeks for production and shipping of custom orders.

We offer custom quilt squares and fabric panels printed on high-quality cotton (4.3 oz Kona cotton or equivalent).
Upon request, we can also print on the following fabrics:

Please note that prices and print appearance vary between fabric types.

💳 Refund Policy

If you decide not to have your design printed after the design work has begun, you’ll receive a refund for the fabric cost only. The design fee is non-refundable.

Once your custom design has been sent to print, the order becomes non-refundable if it includes personal details that make it unique to you (like a name, date, or message).

If the design is one we can still offer to others — such as a Bible verse or quote — you’ll receive a refund for the fabric cost, though the design fee remains non-refundable.
